Do you need a warehouse system for highly dynamic container order picking in your automated small parts store, that you can install in the smallest possible space with as many containers as possible?
The Schaefer Quad System (SQS) provides the support you need. The general SQS concept is based on the operation of container racking with an aisle-bound vehicle that can remove and store up to four containers on the racking simultaneously using a special extracting device. The combination of several units per aisle produces high throughput and minimum processing times resulting from increased dynamic, and in combination with the tight racking arrangement to maximum utilisation of the available space.
Up to five SQS can be arranged vertically in an aisle of just 850 mm in width. Because of its modular design, the system can also be expanded at a later stage in case your requirements change.

Benefits of the Schaefer Quad System:

Modular benefit: Rapid commssioning, rapid maintenance
The modular design of this storage and retrieval system goes one step further still. The pre-assembled Quad-Shuttle follows a "plug & play" concept and can thus be integrated into the racking in one piece. This accelerates the initial commissioning process and subsequently reduces the maintenance time. The system does not need to come to a complete stop in this process. If your facility works with five shuttles, four of them can continue operating while one is undergoing maintenance.
