Automated refrigerated warehouse for milk products
The company Hansa-Milch is a regional milk processor in North Germany. The Hansa-Milch product range consists of around 40 different dairy products. This includes fresh milk, buttermilk and UHT milk, as well as milkshakes, but also cream, butter, yoghurt, quark and condensed milk. The company uses the brand name Hansano and a blue packing with a white and red arrow identifies their products.
Strong warehouse for the red arrow
Acting as a general contractor, SSI SCHAEFER in Giebelstadt realised the hardware and software equipment for a new high bay racking system for Hansa-Milch branded products. Almost 3000 new pallet storage spaces and consistently automated processes including both euro and half pallets, have increased the flexibility of the milk company considerably. The warehouse is used as an intermediate storage for UHT milk, condensed milk and coffee cream.
