New developments for bolts and screws
Maximum requirements due to the large product range
More than 150 tonnes of bolts and fixing elements each day: SSI SCHAEFER installed an additional high bay racking system for screw and bolt manufacturer REYHER, which permits the automated management, storage and dispatch preparation for over 60,000 individual items.
There are 25,000 customer-specific items alone for over 8,000 customers.
The number of available pallet positions was expanded from 42,000 to 78,000, meaning that the external warehouses were no longer required. This enabled the company to process more than 2,000 orders per day with up to 12,000 items.
