Noise reduction for less stress at work

Another component of the ergonomics@work!® concept is the new Silent conveying system FT-SLC. Following intensive research work in collaboration with an acoustics lab, SSI SCHAEFER has developed the new Silent conveying system FT-SLC. The generation of noise was reduced in over 10 components of the standard conveyor technology system. The target noise reduction was between 3 and 30 dBA*.

This means that the entire system or just particularly sensitive areas, such as around high-value work stations, can be designed with noise-minimisation in mind. The new Silent conveying system FT-SLC from SSI SCHAEFER minimises the acoustic stress for staff and contributes to greater productivity, higher accuracy and thus increased profitability.

* "dBA" refers to the noise level difference on a logarithmic scale, with a value of 3 dBA corresponding to a doubling of the noise level.
